Founder & Chairman Strategic direction, governance and client relationships

Mr Ismael I. Bahemia founded Fideco in 1993 with a clear vision: to build an independent management company founded on integrity, expertise and long-term client relationships. More than three decades later, he continues to lead the firm, bringing over 50 years of professional experience as a Chartered Accountant and respected tax specialist.

Working closely with the next generation of leadership, Mr Bahemia remains actively involved in shaping the firm's strategic direction, mentoring the team and ensuring that the values upon which Fideco was built continue to guide every client relationship.

Hasina Bahemia

Chief Operations Officer Client relationships, operations and strategic development

Hasina represents the next generation of Fideco's leadership, building on the values and standards established by the firm's founder more than three decades ago. She oversees the firm's day-to-day operations, client onboarding and service delivery, ensuring every client receives the personalised attention and responsive support that define the Fideco experience.

Working closely with the Chairman, Hasina helps shape the firm's strategic direction while maintaining the governance, integrity and client-first approach that have guided Fideco since 1993.

Corporate Services Manager Corporate administration, governance and ongoing compliance

With more than 20 years at Fideco, Naffeezah is one of the firm's longest-serving professionals and an integral part of its continued success. She oversees the administration of international structures from incorporation through ongoing governance and compliance, ensuring clients remain aligned with Mauritius' evolving regulatory framework.

Her depth of institutional knowledge, built over two decades alongside the firm's Founder, provides clients with continuity, confidence and the reassurance of working with someone who understands both their structures and their long-term objectives.

Ajmeer Elahee

Team Leader Corporate administration, client onboarding and regulatory compliance

Ajmeer is an experienced corporate services professional specialising in company incorporation, trust administration, regulatory compliance and corporate governance. With almost six years' experience in Mauritius' global business sector, he leads a team of client executives while overseeing the administration of international client structures.

Holding an LLM in Business Laws and Governance and a BA in Law with Management, Ajmeer combines strong legal expertise with practical commercial insight. As a director of several Global Business Companies, he works closely with clients to ensure their structures remain compliant, well governed and aligned with their long-term objectives.

Dheera is an experienced finance professional with more than 20 years of expertise across accounting, auditing, fund administration and financial management. Before joining Fideco, she held senior roles with leading organisations, contributing to projects across Africa's infrastructure and real estate sectors while developing extensive experience in financial reporting, governance and regulatory compliance.

At Fideco, Dheera leads the firm's client accounting function, overseeing financial reporting, audit coordination, tax compliance and ongoing financial administration. Her practical experience and commitment to accuracy help clients meet their obligations with confidence while maintaining the highest standards of governance.
